About Jean-Philippe

Lincourt has been a member of the Barreau du Québec for more than 20 years and is a senior lawyer at the firm, joining Belleau Lapointe in 2018 after practising exclusively in litigation at major Quebec firms since the start of his career. He has focused much of his practice on class actions, acting for both plaintiffs and defendants, and has managed numerous national cases and participated in lengthy trials and multi-party negotiations. He also represents clients in civil and commercial litigation, professional liability, insurance law, and construction law. Since 2024 he has co-chaired the organizing committee of the Colloque national sur l'action collective, run with the Barreau du Québec's continuing education service, after being a member of the committee for several years. He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada in class action litigation.
