Motor vehicle accident claims

Car accident injuries sit at the centre of Matt's practice. Matt has explained that an injured person's own insurer gives immediate access to medical treatment, usually up to $3,500, a sum that won't stretch far, and that insurers often push back on further treatment once it's spent, even when providers recommend more.

Insurance litigation and benefit disputes

Timing matters when an insurer pushes back. An insurer only has to fund treatment for five years after the accident, and a formal dispute, which is common, can take years to decide while that clock keeps running. That's why Matt's advice is to bring in an injury lawyer early.
