Insurance LawRyan Steiner is a partner at Beckett Personal Injury Lawyers, working in the Plaintiff Injury Group. Ryan Steiner was raised in London and attended Western University, earning a Bachelor of Arts and a Master's degree in Philosophy before completing his Bachelor of Laws in 2003, receiving the Carswell Prize for highest standing in Legal Ethics and the Bereskin Parr Award for highest academic ability in Intellectual Property. Ryan Steiner was called to the bar in 2004 and has practised exclusively in plaintiff personal injury law since 2005, helping clients with accident benefit, personal injury, and long-term disability claims, with a particular interest in catastrophic impairment cases. In Dube v. RBC Life Insurance Co., Ryan Steiner successfully argued that a breach of contract should be set aside, securing disability benefits for a client; in Miles v. Walmsley Bros. Limited, he took a liability dispute to trial and obtained full damages for his client. Ryan Steiner is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Ontario, and the Middlesex Law Association.
