About Isaac Zisckind

Isaac Zisckind is a founding partner at Diamond & Diamond Lawyers and one of the firm's senior partners. The practice runs on two tracks: personal injury claims on one side, and real estate and corporate work on the other.

Before coming to Diamond & Diamond, Isaac practised at a Toronto insurance defence firm, acting for insurers on car crash, slip and fall, property loss, fire and flood files, and also spent time at a firm that litigated personal injury cases. Both of Isaac's degrees, an honours business degree and a law degree, are from the University of Windsor, and in 2018 Isaac was also called to the bar in British Columbia.

In 2013 Isaac argued an appeal at the Court of Appeal for Ontario for a plaintiff in a dispute with their own car insurer. In 2015 Isaac took on the case of a Toronto UberX driver whose insurer had turned down the driver's accident claim, the first Uber claim Isaac had handled. On the real estate side, Isaac has run seminars for brokers on mortgage fraud and was a senior partner at the firm when discussing the topic with a mortgage industry publication in 2021.

Corporate and real estate clients come to Isaac for advice on day to day operations as well as on litigation and transactions. Away from the office, Isaac plays golf and basketball, follows the Raptors and makes time for family.
