About Matt

Matt McMahon chairs SV Law's Construction Law practice group and represents owners, contractors, consultants, professional service providers, and insurers in construction disputes ranging from small residential renovations to large multi-million-dollar projects. An experienced litigator, he has regularly appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal of Ontario, and he also handles complex property insurance disputes. Matt earned his J.D. from the University of Saskatchewan and a B.A. (Hons) from the University of Guelph, and he was called to the bar in 2017. He later completed a Certificate in Construction Law at Osgoode Hall Law School.
