About Susan

Susan Ursel has a 40-year career representing trade unions and progressive organizations in labour law, human rights, and constitutional matters, and has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada in several landmark LGBTQ+ rights cases. She was named to the Independent Advisory Board for Supreme Court of Canada Justices in 2016 and received the 2019 Law Society of Ontario Medal.
