About Mark

Mark Spiro is a partner at Goodmans whose practice touches all areas of corporate and commercial law. He advises public and private companies on domestic and cross-border deals, including acquisitions, divestitures, going-private transactions, capital raising, reorganizations, and private equity work. Mark also handles complex commercial transactions, drafting and negotiating agreements for companies across a range of industries. He has worked on contested shareholder matters, including proxy contests, acting for both dissident shareholders and boards of directors. In addition to transactional work, Mark advises clients on continuous disclosure requirements, corporate governance, and legislative compliance.
