About Alex
Alex Fomcenco founded Fomcenco Law after many years of legal study and practice across Europe and North America. He is a licensed lawyer with the Law Society of Ontario, as well as a Notary Public and Commissioner of Oaths. He holds a Ph.D. from Aalborg University in Denmark, an LL.M. in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, and an LL.M. and LL.B. from the University of Copenhagen. Before moving into full-time practice, he worked as in-house legal counsel and then spent close to eight years in academia, researching, teaching, and publishing internationally on corporate law, EU law, contract law, and mergers and acquisitions. Today he focuses on business and corporate law along with immigration law, and is fluent in English, Danish, and Russian.
