About Alan

Alan Bowman is a partner in Goodmans' Tax Group, where his work covers income tax issues arising from corporate and commercial transactions, with particular emphasis on the mining sector. He advises public and private clients on mergers and acquisitions, financing, corporate reorganizations, restructuring work, and international tax planning, and is recognized for his tax expertise by several legal ranking organizations. Alan writes and speaks frequently on commercial tax topics, and he also serves as a council member for the International Fiscal Association's Canadian branch. He is a former board chair of Kingsway College School, previously chaired the audit committee for Youth Without Shelter, and has taught as an adjunct professor at Western University's law school.
