About Lynel

Lynel Barrow is a partner with extensive in-house experience, having served as vice president legal and corporate secretary, general counsel and director of legal affairs at various companies. She has managed global intellectual property strategy and protection for a national technology company based in Calgary, handled patent filings and licensing for technology deals, and managed patent protection and technology transfer agreements for an AgTech company. She has also acted as a trademark agent, worked with procurement teams on supply chain templates, and overseen external counsel for a fintech and sustainability company. Lynel previously worked at Macleod Dixon, McCarthy Tetrault, Plastic Bank Recycling Corp, SMART Technologies and Terramera Inc, and earned her LLB from the University of Calgary in 1995.
