Amaki Otuteye is Of Counsel at Caravel Law, working as a corporate, commercial, and transactional lawyer with experience both in private practice and in-house. Her work covers corporate finance transactions, public and private mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and governance matters, including drafting and negotiating agreements such as subscription, shareholder, and employment agreements as well as stock option plans. She has advised founders, executives, and advisors of private and public companies, and previously worked at Friedman Law Professional Corporation, the Ontario Securities Commission, and WeirFoulds LLP. Her transactional experience includes representing Orford Mining Corporation in its acquisition by Alamos Gold Inc. and Arizona Metals Corp. in a $27 million bought deal public offering. She holds a JD and a BBA from the University of New Brunswick.
