Administrative & Regulatory LawLynda Troup is a partner whose practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation and administrative law, covering insurance, intellectual property, contractual disputes, negligence, construction litigation, debtor/creditor litigation, trust litigation and employment law matters. She has appeared before all levels of court in Manitoba, the Federal Court of Canada, and various administrative tribunals, and regularly provides procedural advice to administrative bodies. Lynda served on committees at the Law Society of Manitoba starting in 2009, was a bencher from 2014 to 2022, and served as the 100th President of the Law Society of Manitoba in 2020-2021; she now represents Manitoba at the Federation of Law Societies. She was named a Rising Star, Top 40 under 40, by Lexpert Magazine in 2019 and has since been recognized as a leader in litigation and dispute resolution, and received Benchmark Canada's Emerging Talent Award for Manitoba in 2018. Lynda earned her B.Sc. from the University of Manitoba in 2000 and her LL.B. in 2003, and was called to the Manitoba bar in 2004; she has also taught Legal Methods and Remedies at the University of Manitoba.
