About Lucy
Lucy Jackson is a partner at Thomson Rogers practicing personal injury and class action law. She represents people seriously injured in motor vehicle collisions, slip and fall accidents, and assaults, along with clients pursuing medical device and product liability claims, and she also handles class actions involving institutional abuse and Consumer Protection Act breaches. Lucy represents individuals whose long-term disability benefits have been denied, and as co-counsel she secured a jury verdict before the Ontario Superior Court restoring a client's LTD benefits along with an award for aggravated and punitive damages. She works to ensure her clients get the medical and rehabilitation treatment available under Ontario's statutory accident benefits scheme. Called to the bar in 2018 after earning her J.D. from Dalhousie's Schulich School of Law and a BA from McGill University, Lucy articled at Thomson Rogers before joining as a lawyer. She now sits on the Board of Directors of the Community Head Injury Resource Services in Toronto, where she chairs the Governance Committee.
