About Allahnah

Allahnah Karmali graduated with honours from the University of Windsor's Faculty of Law in 2020 and was called to the bar in 2021. Before law school, she completed her undergraduate degree at Western University with an Honours Specialization in Feminist Studies. She carried that interest in equity through law school, volunteering with Pro Bono Students Canada and receiving the Jean Teillet Access to Justice award, and in 2018 she travelled to her hometown of Nairobi, Kenya, to work as a legal intern advising government and private organizations on the country's new constitution. Allahnah articled at Thomson Rogers before moving to an insurance defence firm, where she came to realize her passion was advocating for injured people. That background gives her insight into how adjusters think, which benefits her personal injury clients today.
