About Alice
Alice H. Xiao is a personal injury lawyer at Thomson Rogers, where she previously worked as an articling student. She is fluent in Mandarin and focuses on helping clients who face language and cultural barriers navigate the legal system. Alice earned her JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2021, where she took part in the Feminist Advocacy Program and worked as a student lawyer at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic supporting survivors of violence. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada's Family Law Project, assisting low-income self-represented litigants, and competed in several moot competitions, including the Walsh Family Law Moot, where her team won the Best Factum award. Before law school, Alice graduated from the University of Pennsylvania magna cum laude, studying philosophy, politics, and economics.
