About Luc
Luc Bourque is a partner at Merovitz Potechin LLP, focused on commercial real estate with particular emphasis on greenfield land development and brownfield redevelopment. He advises clients on land purchases and sales, financing and joint venture structures, and condominium and multi-use strata title projects. Before joining Merovitz Potechin in March 2024, he spent 22 years in private practice at national and midsize Toronto and Ottawa firms and a further 5 years as in-house counsel at a real estate development company. He holds an LL.B. (cum laude) from the University of Western Ontario and a B.Sc. (Honours) in Microbiology and Immunology from Dalhousie University, and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1997 and the Ontario Bar in 1999. He has served on the Board of Family Services Ottawa and on the executive of the Real Property Section of the CBA and OBA.
