About David

David Hollingsworth is the founding lawyer of the Ottawa firm bearing his name. Born and raised in Ottawa, he earned a BA from the University of Western Ontario in 1993 and a law degree from the University of Ottawa in 1997, and has practiced personal injury law since 1999. He has appeared at every level of court in Ontario, including the Superior Court of Ontario, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and Financial Services Commission arbitrations involving Accident Benefits disputes. He belongs to the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Advocates' Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the County of Carleton Law Association, and the Ontario Bar Association. David appears regularly on CTV News as a commentator on personal injury and insurance matters and has guest lectured at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Common Law. He has received recognition including the Ottawa Business Journal's Forty Under 40 award and a Consumer Choice Award for personal injury law in Ottawa.
