Lorenzo first joined the team as a law co-op student in summer 2017, returned for another work term, commenced articles in September 2020, and joined as a full-time associate in September 2021. Born and raised in Port Alberni, he moved to Victoria in 2013 to study history at the University of Victoria before pursuing a law degree there as well, developing an interest in constitutional law and the intersection of Aboriginal and immigration law. He is called to the bar in both British Columbia and the Northwest Territories and has represented Indigenous clients across Western and Northern Canada in litigation, negotiation, and economic development matters.
