About Kiah

Kiah became a Partner of Sequoia Legal in October 2025, having first practised at a full-service Vancouver firm. She obtained her law degree from the University of Edinburgh and completed an LLM in Public International Law at the London School of Economics, with her Master's thesis on victim impact statements. She was called to the bar in 2020 and, in 2021, completed the CBA's Young Lawyers International Program placed with Lawyers for Human Rights in South Africa. She now advises Indigenous communities on band governance, specific claims, Crown consultation, estate planning, and economic development, and is a Lawyer Supervisor with the University of Victoria's Pro Bono Student Society.
