About Robert
Robert J. Klassen has practiced family law in Victoria, BC for decades, focusing primarily on Collaborative Family Law as a non-adversarial alternative to court for divorce, separation, spousal support, and parenting arrangements. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1970 and to the British Columbia bar in 1979, and has been a family law mediator since 1985. Robert is the founder and past chair of the Victoria Collaborative Family Law Group, a former Adjunct Professor at the University of Victoria Faculty of Law, and has taught the Collaborative Family Law Course there. He is a member of the Family Law Sections in Vancouver and Victoria and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section Victoria.
