He earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Queen's University in 2012 and completed his Juris Doctor at Bond University in Australia in 2014. He regularly appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, conducts examinations for discovery, and oversees disability and accident benefits claims, with a growing focus on plaintiff tort litigation. Before law school, Matthew spent three years in the Canadian Forces Army Reserves.
