About Grant
Grant Smith has practiced family law and civil litigation in Victoria since being called to the BC bar in 1999, with additional experience in commercial litigation, personal injury, and administrative law. He's represented clients at various levels of court in British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba, including notable appearances at the Court of Appeal in both BC and Alberta, and at administrative hearings across the four western provinces. Alongside litigation, he works with clients to find pragmatic, cost-efficient resolutions to family and commercial disputes. Grant holds an LLB from the University of Victoria and a BA from the University of Calgary. Outside the office, he coaches hockey and ball hockey in Victoria and is active in youth sports with his own children.
