About Lindsey

Lindsey Galvin serves as Alberta Managing Partner at DWF Canada (formerly Whitelaw Twining) and moved to Calgary in 2016 to establish the firm's Alberta office. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 2007, the Yukon bar in 2013, and the Alberta bar in 2016, and maintains a litigation practice across all three jurisdictions. Her work centres on insurance defence, with particular focus on complex bodily injury and liquor liability claims, chronic pain and psychological injury assessments, commercial general liability defence, and insurance coverage disputes. She has appeared before the Court of Appeal and has handled abuse litigation, fatal accident claims, and class action proceedings, and has experience in mediation and judicial dispute resolution. She previously chaired the Canadian Bar Association's National Insurance Section.
