About Liam
Liam Valgardson is an associate at Davies Howe LLP practising land use planning, expropriation, and administrative law. He advises on a wide range of land development, planning, and expropriation matters, and has appeared before the Ontario Land Tribunal, municipal councils, the Ontario Divisional Court, and the Ontario Court of Justice. Before joining the firm, he clerked for the Honourable Justice Elizabeth Heneghan at the Federal Court during the 2022-2023 term, and prior to that articled and worked as a litigation associate at a Winnipeg firm, appearing before courts and administrative tribunals. He holds a J.D. from the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Winnipeg, and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2021 and the Ontario Bar in 2023.
