About Leticia
Leticia Wabash was called to the Bar of the Law Society of Manitoba in June 2024 and joined Maurice Law that September, after articling with Legal Aid Manitoba in criminal defence work. She is developing a practice in Specific Claims and litigation and earned her Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University, where she served as President of the Indigenous Law Students' Association. Her legal education included a national Aboriginal Law Moot and a placement with the Human Rights Legal Support Centre in Toronto. Before law school, Wabash worked with First Nations organizations supporting survivors of Indian Residential Schools, Day Schools, and the Sixties Scoop.
