Brad Regehr is a Partner at Maurice Law with 25 years in Aboriginal law, corporate and commercial law, civil litigation, and administrative law, appearing before the Manitoba Court of King's Bench, the Manitoba Court of Appeal, and the Federal Court of Canada. He was part of the team that won the first case litigated under the First Nations Fiscal Management Act, and he continues to advise First Nations on Specific Claims and on implementing Land Claim and Flooding Agreements. In 2021 he served a one-year term as President of the Canadian Bar Association, becoming the first Indigenous lawyer elected to that position, and he earlier spent two years as President of the Manitoba Bar Association. Regehr is a member of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation in Saskatchewan and joined Maurice Law in 2017, where he now manages the Winnipeg office.
