About Aron
Aron Taylor is a Partner at Maurice Law who was called to the Bar of the Law Society of Alberta in 2014, starting his career at a Calgary boutique firm focused on energy and commercial litigation. He later worked as In-House Counsel for a geophysical service company, handling litigation against the Crown over seismic data collected off Canada's coast, before joining Maurice Law as an Associate in 2017. Since then he has represented First Nations in corporate and commercial matters, civil litigation, and Specific Claims, appearing as lead or co-counsel before every level of court in Alberta as well as the Specific Claims Tribunal and the Federal Court of Canada. He also advises clients on natural resource development issues, including the Crown's duty to consult and the negotiation of Impact Benefit Agreements.
