About Austin
Austin Hunt is an Associate in Maurice Law's Headingley, Manitoba office, where he is developing a practice focused on litigation and the advancement of Specific Claims for Indigenous communities. He articled with the firm and was called to the Bar of Manitoba in June 2025. During law school, he served as a research assistant for the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Chair and earned a certificate in Aboriginal and Indigenous Law. Hunt is Red River Metis from Winnipeg and a member of the Manitoba Metis Federation.
