About Leslie
Les is a business lawyer who has practised extensively in corporate and commercial law, private lending, real estate development and financing, and cross-border transactions, including applications to U.S. federal regulators on corporate acquisitions. He also advises high-net-worth individuals on estate and tax planning. Les received his Bachelor of Arts in 1973 and Bachelor of Education in 1974 from Memorial University of Newfoundland, his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Victoria in 1980, and his Master of Laws from Cambridge University in 1987. He was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1981 and has served for many years as a guest instructor in the Law Society's Professional Legal Training Course.
