About Aurora

Aurora is a partner at Cox Taylor who advises individuals, statutory decision-makers, Crown corporations, professional regulators, and corporations on governance, discipline, and membership disputes, with a particular focus on expropriation, contaminated sites, and construction and municipal law disputes. She has represented clients at all levels of court in British Columbia, including successfully defending applications to the Supreme Court of Canada. Aurora was called to the bar in June 2010, holds a Bachelor of Music with distinction from the University of Victoria (2002), and earned her law degree from Dalhousie University (2009) after working as a performer and running a small business in Vancouver. She is a past president of the British Columbia Expropriation Association.
