About Leonard
Leonard Lee is a partner in the firm's Real Estate practice group, bringing more than 20 years of experience in real estate and land development gained at various corporations and law firms across the GTA. His work covers the acquisition and sale of industrial, retail, and vacant properties, commercial leasing, and acting for both borrowers and lenders in real estate financing. Before joining the firm, Leonard was General Counsel for a real estate developer focused on purpose-built rental housing in the GTA, where he led the legal strategy on leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and construction matters. He earlier served as in-house counsel at Orlando Corporation, one of Canada's largest privately owned real estate companies, and worked at two national law firms. His experience also extends to litigation management, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Leonard earned his LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 2003 and his BA from the University of British Columbia in 1998, and he was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004.
