About Emily
Emily Gilmour's tax practice covers investment funds, private equity, securities lending, derivatives, international tax planning, and mergers and acquisitions, along with related corporate finance work. Gilmour has advised Canadian and foreign financial institutions and capital markets participants, including mutual funds, hedge funds, exchange-traded funds, investment banks and pension plans. Gilmour earned a J.D. with Honours from the University of Toronto, along with business and arts degrees from the University of Western Ontario, and completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Program. Professional memberships include the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Investment Funds Institute of Canada, the International Fiscal Association and the Law Society of Ontario.
