About Lauren

Lauren Cao is an associate at Davies Howe LLP practising in land development law and civil litigation. She was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2024 after articling at a civil litigation boutique, and she has since appeared before the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal, and various tribunals. Lauren holds a joint law and environmental studies degree from the University of Toronto, where she competed in the Willms & Shier Environmental Law Moot, managed a clinic for Artists' Legal Advice Services, and volunteered with Downtown Legal Services. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Toronto, graduating with high distinction.
