About Courtney
Courtney Burton is a founding partner at Blue Rock Law with a background in mergers and acquisitions, energy, corporate reorganizations, derivatives and not-for-profit matters. She built her transactional experience at a large international firm before helping establish Blue Rock Law. Courtney grew up in the Calgary area and started working with horses from a young age, a passion she maintains alongside her legal practice. She was called to the Alberta bar in 2010 and holds a law degree and a BA from the University of Calgary.
