Jennifer D. Sykes practices primarily in municipal law, advising on governance, land development, expropriation, bylaw and policy drafting, annexations, intermunicipal disputes, procurement, land acquisition, leasing and disposal, utility servicing, taxation, bylaw enforcement, contracts, risk management and dispute resolution. She regularly represents clients before administrative tribunals, including the Land and Property Rights Tribunal and subdivision and development appeal boards, and before all levels of court in Alberta. She also leads the firm's employment practice group, representing employers and employees in employment agreements, workplace policies, terminations, dispute resolution and human rights matters, and is an IMI Qualified Mediator with a certificate in workplace restorations.
