About Kristi
Kristi Zychowka is counsel and a Registered Canadian Trademark Agent who advises businesses at every stage, from start-up through reorganizations and ongoing operations. She drafts and negotiates commercial agreements including leases, supply and service agreements and employment contracts, with particular experience in the energy sector, First Nations economic development and regulated health professions. On the trademark side, she files and prosecutes applications and represents clients in opposition and expungement proceedings. Kristi was called to the British Columbia bar in 2009, the Yukon bar in 2015, and the Alberta bar in 2022. She holds a law degree from the University of British Columbia and a BSc from Simon Fraser University.
