About Laura

Laura Soproniuk is an associate with a broad insurance defence practice covering personal injury, health law, human rights, and construction disputes. She joined Carfra Lawton after articling and summering with a multinational firm in Edmonton. Soproniuk earned a B.A. in Political Science from MacEwan University (2021) and a J.D. from the University of Alberta (2024), during which she served as an editor for the Alberta Law Review and was active in the university's Women's Law Forum. She was called to the British Columbia and Alberta bars in 2025.
