About Kyusik
Kyusik Shin assists clients with business matters including incorporation, financing, corporate governance, mergers, and acquisitions in Richards Buell Sutton's Business Law Services and Asia Pacific Groups. He maintains strong ties to Korea and specializes in helping Korean-speaking clients and Korean companies entering the Canadian market, and participated in a Canadian Creative Industries Trade Mission to South Korea. He served as an infantry division leader in the Korean military in 2021, receiving a Ministerial Commendation from Korea's Minister of National Defence. He holds a J.D. from the Peter A. Allard School of Law (2024), with a study-abroad term at the National University of Singapore (2023), and a B.A. from the University of British Columbia (2017), with a study-abroad term at the University of Edinburgh. He was called to the bar in 2025.
