About Bushra
Bushra Nassab is an associate on Osler's Disputes team, concentrating on civil and commercial litigation with particular focus on disputes tied to construction and infrastructure projects, including bidding, contract drafting and interpretation, construction liens, delay claims, and negligence matters. Bushra represented the Toronto Transit Commission through a 14-month trial concerning construction of the Pioneer Village Subway Station. Bushra completed the Osgoode Hall Certificate in Construction Law and also works on tax disputes, class action defence, securities regulation, and judicial reviews. Bushra volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario and was recognized in 2023 for contributing 128 hours of pro bono legal services. Before joining Osler as a summer student in 2019, Bushra worked at Infrastructure Ontario, the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, and the Senate of Canada. Bushra holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.
