About Kristina

Kristina Soutar is a partner with Thorsteinssons LLP, practicing out of the firm's Toronto office. Her work centers on domestic and international corporate and personal tax planning, along with matters involving private corporations, trusts and estates. She sits on the executive of the Ontario Bar Association's Taxation Section and previously edited its newsletter, Taxation Law, and she also belongs to the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Tax Foundation. Kristina has written for publications such as Global Tax Weekly, the Canadian Tax Foundation's Canadian Tax Highlights, and Federated Press's Tax Litigation, and served as a regular corporate tax contributor to Carswell's Legal Alert newsletter. She frequently speaks at conferences and continuing education programs on tax topics.
