About Asif

Asif Abdulla is a partner at Thorsteinssons LLP's Vancouver office, advising individuals, trusts and corporations on domestic and international tax planning aimed at achieving tax efficiency across their personal and business affairs. His practice covers succession and estate planning, tax-driven corporate reorganizations, immigration and emigration tax planning, and cross-border matters, and he represents clients in disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency, including applications under the Voluntary Disclosure Program. Asif is an Adjunct Professor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC, teaching courses on corporate taxation and reorganizations, and instructs courses for CPA British Columbia. He holds a J.D. from the University of Victoria and a B.A. in Criminology from the University of Ottawa, and completed the In-Depth Tax Course offered by CPA Canada.
