About Robert
Robert Neilson's practice touches most areas of tax, with an emphasis on representation and tax litigation, and has expanded to include wills and estates matters involving mental competency, undue influence and trusts. He began his career with the Department of Justice, gaining in-depth experience with CRA audits and disputes, and has acted as lead counsel before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal. Born and raised in Edmonton, he earned his Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Alberta in 2004 and his law degree from the University of Saskatchewan, practising tax litigation with the Department of Justice from 2008 before joining Felesky Flynn in 2014. He was called to the Alberta bar in 2008.
