About Kristi

Kristi practises family law, real estate and development law, and wills and estate law, and currently focuses on helping clients navigate separation, negotiating settlement agreements on support, asset division and parenting time. She also acts as a family law mediator and litigates when needed, and assists with cohabitation and marriage contracts. Kristi graduated from Lakehead University in 1994 and earned her LLB from the University of Manitoba in 1997, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1999. She became a partner at Buset LLP in 2022, and has served on the Board of Directors of Children's Centre Thunder Bay and as former Chair of the Thunder Bay Law Association's Continuing Legal Education committee.
