About Alex
Alex has 39 years of experience in civil litigation, particularly insurance-related claims, after practising as a partner specializing in insurance defence for 34 years before joining Buset LLP in 2008. He has argued cases before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal and Divisional Court, and has conducted mediations and arbitrations before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. Alex earned an Honours BSc in Chemistry from Lakehead University in 1977 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor in 1980, and was called to the Ontario bar in 1982.
