About Kaylee

Kaylee Swearengen was born and raised in Murillo and now provides legal services in her hometown area of Thunder Bay. She graduated from Lakehead University in 2020 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science Pre-Law, First Class Standing, then earned her Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2024. She worked as a caseworker at the Lakehead University Community Legal Services clinic, gaining experience in Landlord and Tenant Board matters, Small Claims Court, employment, provincial offences, and criminal law, and completed her practice placement with Legal Aid Ontario in family and criminal law. Her practice focuses on family law, wills and estate planning, and general litigation.
