About David

David's practice focuses on civil litigation, primarily insurance defence, covering both tort and accident benefit matters, including claims involving the Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Fund and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. His work has taken him to communities across Northwestern Ontario, including Fort Frances, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Kenora and as far north as Attawapiskat. He earned a BA from Simon Fraser University and graduated from law school at the University of Ottawa in 1989, and was called to the bar in 1991. David has been a Council Member of the Ontario Bar Association since 2013 and is a member of Canadian Defence Lawyers and the Defense Research Institute.
