Kristen Stallard

About Kristen

Kristen Stallard is an associate in Patterson Law's civil litigation department, with interests in constitutional and administrative law, human rights, professional regulation, and employment disputes. After articling with the firm she joined as an associate in 2021, having also completed judicial clerkships at the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal and the Federal Court of Appeal. She holds an LLM from the University of Cambridge, a JD and MPA from Dalhousie University, an MA in political science from the University of Toronto, and a BA from St. Francis Xavier University. Stallard was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2019 and has taught administrative law and coached the Laskin Moot team as part-time faculty at Dalhousie. She chairs the Administrative Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association's Nova Scotia Branch and co-authored a chapter in the sixth edition of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
