About Brandon

Brandon is based in Patterson Law's Truro office. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Criminology and Criminal Justice from St. Thomas University, where his thesis examined the criminalization of HIV non-disclosure and its effects on accused persons and public attitudes toward HIV. During his undergraduate studies he competed in moot court competitions, earning recognition as a top orator and placing second out of 120 teams at the 2020 Osgoode Cup. Brandon received his J.D. from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law in 2023, where he was awarded the Schulich Scholarship for academic achievement and community involvement. He was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2024.
