About Morgan

Morgan Hicks became a partner at Farrow Hicks McDade Law in January 2020, after practising as an associate at the firm. She earned her LL.B. from Dalhousie Law School in 2007 and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2008. She began her career at a Halifax firm, building experience in civil litigation, family law, wills and estates, and immigration and refugee law. A military posting took her to Kingston, Ontario in 2012, where she opened her own practice focused on immigration and wills and estates, before she and her family returned to Nova Scotia in 2016 and she joined Farrow Hicks Law. Her practice today covers immigration law, family law, wills and estates, and civil litigation. She has volunteered with the Halifax Refugee Clinic representing refugee claimants before the Immigration and Refugee Board and continues pro bono work through the Legal Information Society and immigrant service organizations.
