About Kiran

Kiran Dhesa is a lawyer in Richards Buell Sutton's Estate & Wealth Advisory Group, with a practice focused on personal estate and incapacity planning, trust planning including family trusts, estate administration and probate, and committeeship matters. She takes a client-centered approach to developing estate plans tailored to clients' and families' long-term needs. An active member of the firm's South Asian Practice Group, she is fluent in Punjabi and provides culturally and linguistically informed service to clients. Kiran serves as Vice President of the Fraser Valley Estate Planning Council and is a past board member of the Rotary Club of Surrey and a past trustee of the Surrey Public Library Board. She frequently presents on estate and wealth advisory topics, including estate planning, disability planning, and trust tax reporting rules. She received her J.D. from Thompson Rivers University in 2018 and a B.A. from Simon Fraser University in 2013, and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2019.
